Term 2 Sports Update

Cross Country

In Week 3 Term 2, some of our students competed at the Adelaide North East SAPSASA Cross Country Carnival. It was great to see all runners trying their best on a challenging course that included them running over grass, rocks, bark and dirt. 

In their own individual events, we had some outstanding results on the day:

Aleeya - 13th     Milad - 6th      Ify - 10th     Livvy - 12th

Knockout Soccer

On Friday Week 7 Term 2, the Year 5/6 Hampstead Soccer team went to East Torrens Primary to compete in the SA School Sport Knockout Soccer Competition Round 1. 

Faced with some tough conditions due to the wet ground and upcoming rain, the boys persevered and finished undefeated on the day thanks to a wonder goal from Ahmed in the final game!

Each player showed great team spirit and teamwork throughout. It was also fantastic to see each school showing amazing sportsmanship regardless of the result. We now move into Round 2 next Term!
